Omer XXV spearguns are part of the newly developed family of products. The project was started in the year 2002 with the idea to develop a revolutionary series of spearguns featuring only brand new and highly advanced components. The handle, the barrel, the muzzle and the reel are all new in design and concept. As for all other Omer spearguns, the design, the engineering and the tools have all been carried out entirely by our technicians.

"XXV" E "XXV GOLD" HANDLE
The XXV and XXV Gold spearguns feature the same handle. Although the handle is derived, in its design and general look, from Omer classic T20 handle, derived itself from a 1970’s project, we have reengineered the whole handle greatly reducing its dimensions and weight. The difference is easily visible. The triggering mechanism is similar to the T20 handle and it is die casted in stainless steel AISI 304. The newly designed safety, manufactured entirely in thermoplastic Grivory Gv5H, is positioned on top and can easily be operated. The handle grip is moulded in a special thermoplastic material with 20% foam to increase the floatability of the gun. The chest protector is very large and comfortable. The handle features an automatic line releaser, derived in concept from the Excalibur speargun project. A reel guide, has been added on the bottom of the front part of the handle.

"XXV" E "XXV GOLD" MUZZLE
XXV and XXV Gold feature the same revolutionary muzzle. The muzzle is made in thermoplastic Grivory Gv5H and it is multifunctional. It can be used in four different functional solutions. Solution 1
Using standard slings (eventually adding a second circular sling) with the transparent bridge to hold the shaft in place when the speargun is upside down. Solution 2
Using standard slings (eventually adding a second circular sling) without the transparent bridge. The line holds the shaft in place when the speargun is upside down. Solution 3
Removing the wishbone system and using a circular sling. Also using the transparent bridge that holds the shaft in place when the speargun is upside down. Solution 4
Completely open muzzle by removing the wishbone system and using a circular sling. Also removing the transparent bridge and using the line to hold the shaft in place when the speargun is upside down.

"XXV" BARREL
XXV features a 25mm diameter carbon fibre barrel with a thickness of 1.5 mm

"XXV GOLD" BARREL
XXV GOLD features a 25mm diameter carbon fibre barrel with a thickness of 1.5mm and an integral carbon fibre shaft guide. The shaft guide is not added to the barrel but it is an integral part of it. The special profile also contributes to the greater stiffness of the barrel for maximum shooting accuracy.
